Does Community Fibre Project include ONT installation?

We are part of a CFP (community Fibre Project) and are expecting FTTP any moment now..? Well we signed the contract almost a year ago. A CBT has gone up on the local pole, and BTOR website indicates our postcode as "planned", also on the Better Internet Dashboard.

I got the impression BTOR would install the ONTs as part of the CFP (and was part of what we paid for.) I am now doubting that and think the ISP will organise the ONT install when we place an order and may have to pay a further installation fee... I don't suppose it makes much difference but does anyone know which way round it works or does it vary from project to project?

The CFP project covers the build, to the pole if you are fed overhead, and to the box on UG estates. Pledged customers on UG will have their ducts cleared and roped ready, or if you are DIG (direct in ground) fed, a new duct dug up to your wall.

Part of the pledge voucher is you agreed to taking an FTTP service once the build is ready, so your provider should contact you, or you call them, and arrange for the engineer visit to get the fibre to your home, fit the ONT and away you go.

Many thanks, we didn't qualify for any vouchers so it was fully self funded and no obligation to order a service - but our FTTC service is so poor we had to do something.
It is a week or two short of a year since the contract was signed and deposit paid. Communications from OR have been poor, but the CBT was installed on our pole about 4 weeks ago. Now it has gone all quiet again.
After posting this I managed to obtain a copy of the contract and it's fairly clear it only includes up to the CBT as we are all overhead feeds.

The Openreach ONT will be installed by an Openreach engineer* upon service order from your ISP typically the same visit** when the drop cable from the CBT is brought into the premises and CSP fitted.

The connection charge will be covered by your new FTTP broadband agreement with your ISP. So whatever they charge for a new service.

The ONT then stays with your property. It's effectively your new Openreach master socket for FTTP.

* or their nominated subcontractor on behalf of Openreach
