Does Miononno hack cause problems on ZTE routers? (No it doesn’t, but help appreciated on ZTE MC888 disconnecting, apparently on DCHP lease renewal).

I’ve just bought my second ZTE MC888 from Efones via Amazon, brand new, ZTE branded, because the first one suffered from intermittent disconnects throughout the day. The internet would just disappear for a minute or so, and when I checked the system log of my TP Link ER605, which I use for load balancing, I could see WAN down, then WAN up about 35 - 40 seconds later, several times during the day and night.
Anyway, today I received the second one which is doing the same thing, plus when I was resetting it tonight, I couldn’t connect to the ZTE WiFi, although I could connect to the WiFi signal from the Huawei AX3 mesh system, which is connected to the LAN of the ER605.
Now it’s up and running after another reset, but I’m just wondering if the Miononno hack, which I know quite a few people here are familiar with, mainly for the MC808, could be causing an issue here, because I’ve been using it for cell locking, and also for changing the DNS server.

Have any ZTE users experienced anything like this using the hack? If so, do tell.

It shouldn't do as all it's really doing is running a Java Script through the Web Browser in order to run some API Commands to read and write here and there.

Only thing I would say is maybe connect your PC / Lappy which is running the JS, Directly to the ZTE Device via Ethernet or WiFi, rather than through other Devices, Routers or Mesh Devices.

Thanks EssexBoy. After resetting it last night, I just left it vanilla and didn’t apply the hack and it didn’t disconnect once. I’ll leave it like that for today, and see what happens. If it behaves itself, I’ll apply the hack in the way you suggested.

It’s still disconnecting every few hours and this is what my TP Link ER605 logged last night.
Any ideas?
