Dole Offices Never Had These Jobs

I notice the remarks about sexisim on that article.

I read something odd on another paper site, about a man who had taken 'interest' in a bike (pedal bike). 2 hotel cleaners opened his room up, and saw him, and reported it to the manager. The guy then got put on the sex offenders list.

Quite barmy if you ask me. Yes, a bizarre thing to do and not to most peoples tastes, but it was in a hotel room he paid for, and hes now on the same list as peadofiles and rapists.

l agree thats weird, however what one does behind closed doors is nothing to do with anyone else when i hurts no one or anything. at least thats my opinion.

He could have got away with it if the bike had 'spoke' up for him.
It just goes to show that you have to be a bit fussy about what old bike you take to hotel rooms in future.

I am still trying to figure out how it is an offence, he WAS behind locked doors, so he was in private, I assume he is on the register because the bike was under 16 years old ??
Total Farce and I hope it gets reversed on appeal

Here's the story -

EDINBURGH, Scotland (UPI) — A man who admitted having sex with a bicycle in a Scottish hotel has been placed on the sex offenders' register for breach of the peace.

Robert Stewart admitted to the crime Friday in Ayr Sheriff Court and is to be sentenced next month, Britain's Telegraph reported Saturday.

Stewart was discovered last October by two maids who entered to clean his room during a stay at the Aberley House Hostel in Ayr, Scotland.

The accused was holding the bike and moving his hips back and forth as if to simulate sex, a sheriff's spokesman told the court. The shocked witnesses told the hotel manager who told the police.

Stewart, according to the Telegraph, is not the first person convicted of sex with an inanimate object. In 1993, Kar Watkins, an electrician, was arrested for having sex with pavements in Redditch, England.

Bang him up ! Before you know it men will be having intercourse with lots of strange things ... first pavements, then bicycles, then other men !

.....who doesnt see the stupidness of this, granted the pavement one was apt, why because its a public place however the fact this guy has been put on the sex offenders list is just stupid based upon the fact that whats so different from one object to the next.. and to the specially made objects that are just as inanimate as a damn bike.
