they say its bt restricting the line due to it being a heavy use line just strange its from 9am til 6pm

I've been looking into your issue and have been speaking to BT about how best to resolve it.
As i can see from the notes in the support ticket, your DSL line regularly tests fine and is able to support speeds of up to 8Mbps.
As you've previously indicated, the speeds are acceptable over the weekend and during the evening.
n this case, I don't believe more line tests would be necessary or worthwhile.
Unfortunately the service you're subscribing to is a heavily-contended service (50:1) and i believe it is the contention within the BT core network that is causing the performance issues for your connection.
BT have advised me they are seeing a scenario called "tcp tail-drop" during the core business hours (09:00-18:00) which will seriously affect internet performance. This is happening within the BT network before your connection reaches the FMN network.
As this is happening within the BT network, this is also affecting other FMN subscribers.
FMN are working with BT to rectify this situation but unfortunately this will take time to fully analyse and to rectify.
the speeds you've been seeing are extremely poor.
We have complained to BT on your behalf and will continue to track this issue with them whilst our long term solution is being worked on.
should i see it out or go i got a mac code but dont know where to go to so many companys that lie
