I have a SIM-Only deal with ID Mobile. I recently pushed the button on a new Google Pixel 8 and service through ID Mobile (it wasn't available as an upgrade path on my SIM-Only deal). It only occurred to me after receiving the new phone that I can't port my number across as the PAC process is geared to cross-network porting.
I have a Three 'burner SIM' that I have ported my number over to, with a view to port back to the new ID account. My question is - how quickly can I do this? I started the PAC process to Three yesterday and have confirmation that my number is now on that SIM. Can I immediately start a new PAC process to ID or shall I wait a day or two? I've had the same number since I was a teenager (~20 years) so don't want to risk losing it and having to remember new numbers!
Edit:
I didn't know what to call the thread so went with 'Double PAC', but it seems this could be called 'Double Porting' and is covered here, so I am thinking my theory of same day PAC can be done. Can anyone confirm?
