Easygroup launches mobile service

So day one on easymobile and not bad.

The sim card took 4 days to arrive including the weekend.
Card comes deactivated, so you login to the website and enter the simcard number sent and activate it using your password.

Phone will then be live in a few hours, they say 1 to 2 although mine was on in 30mins.

Support is quick via phone and email when i have asked questions and the signal is full in my location, although thats because its on T-mobile.
The sim actually displays Easy on the phone display, unlike my VirginMobile old one which says one2one still.

So now will see which is cheaper and more reliable for me.. 3 or Easymobile.
With the growing complaints against 3, customer service and signal its not looking good. although to be fair i have not had many dropped calls yet. I have had 6 NEC 616 handsets though.

How about The Utility Warehouse?

If you just need a simcard, £10 ( £5.00 refund in calls )

£8 per month line rental (12 month contract) itemised bill every month, direct debit.

8p per min any landline or network

7p per text.

8p voicemail collection

8p wap

12p call access numbers

This another one called Freecall++ which is free calls and texts between friends and family, but they have to be on same service.

All T-Mobile network

There's also quite a good deal on Orange at the moment.

£15/month (12 month contract)
2 hours talk time - x-network, anytime
30 SMS/month

I just joined it, as I was spending about £10-15/month on PAYG for a lot less than 2 hours talk time! I also got a new phone cos' I'm a gadget freak (Samsung D500).

I was looking at EasyMobile myself, but I get sick of running out of credit and I wanted a new phone anyway (plus I don't think T-Mobile is very good in my area).

Easy have now enabled international roaming as well if you use the auto-topup facility.
have to say the customer service is fantastic at present and have no problems at all.

As for credit, well i am noticing how cheap it is now already.

Well easy have done it again..

Now its only £5 to signup for your simcard and they include £10 of calling credit !
Have to say so far had no problems with my service.

Blimey - no posts in this thread since April!

Well, I signed up on their website on Thursday using my PAC from Three, and have received my sim card this morning. The online sim activation took minutes instead of the 1-2 hours that they quoted, and the porting of my old number should be complete on 27th Oct.

Cracking service so far.
