Could somebody explain the difference of Home Broadband and Evolution Broadband with regards to Eclipse.

I see on their website it offers both. The home BB is £14.99 per month with a 2gb max download, while the Evolution at the same price is unlimited.

There must be something different between the two but I can't figure it out.

If you go over your limit on home broadband you are charged £1.75 per GB for every GB you go over the set limit, but there will be no traffic shaping etc.

On Evolution, if you fall foul of the FUP, your speed can be throttled to 256k, but you won't be charged any more than the set monthly cost.

Basically, it's 2 different ways of managing you usage - Evolution gives you a guaranteed monthly price, Home means you won't be throttled (well, your Internet connection won't be throttled :) ) but you could potentially have quite a large bill.

Another thing to keep in mind is the performance priority. For example the evolution package option 1 is at the lowest 'classic'. Which means all the other packages will get preference, regardless of FUP etc.
