Hi,
I've been with EE 4G now for about 4 years now due to only having copper cable in my area (I live in a very rural area). I went with EE as for some reason they have a 4G tower near my house which has always provided me with 70mbps download and 35 upload which is great, have been able to do everything I've needed.
However, around 3-4 weeks ago they did something in my area apparently and since then my speeds have been abysmal and very unstable. I would do a speed test and it will jump straight up to 70mbps and then over the span of 5 seconds it will go down to 2mbps or less and bounce around that and every now and then drop out, however upload speeds is staying at a stable 35mbps.
I've called EE about 20-30 times now and they are convinced it's the 4G External Antenna they fitted to the outside of my house about 3 years ago has gone wrong, but I really don't think it is that. They are sending out an engineer to my house to look at the antenna wednesday next week but it's just too far away, the internet is stopping me from being able to work properly, etc.
So I was wondering what could be causing this to happen or if there is anything I can try doing?
