Hi,
Lurking for a while. Recently I noticed my phone registering 5g NSA in my local area (closest town being Corbridge), so decided to buy a CPE PRO 2.
On my phone the speeds were never brilliant for 5g NSA but certainly usable, 50-100mps regardless of the speed tester I used; getting 150+ down via 4G w/carrier aggregation.
On connecting LTE monitor, 5g shows band n1 ?!
Going to diagnostics in LTE monitor, and hitting signal gives me:
Is this normal of EE to install 5G NSA like this? 15mhz 2100mhz 5g?
My only guess is EE are awaiting backhaul from OpenReach of similar, so in an attempt to get 5g going if throttled they've configured it as such.... but who really knows?
PS: Smarty SIM really doesn't want to play ball with CPE PRO2, but works fine in B818 (??!!)... I suspect Three also have NSA around here.
Anyone seen such an example before?
