EE EE Deals

I've been a naughty boy and done the plusnet discount without being a plusnet customer, and I gave my PAC as I was buying it (which was mistake according to the first post in this thread), so awaiting a telling off from customer service. Hoepfully it doesn't bar me from buying from them in the future!

Worst case, you might have to call up and they’ll bump you off a Plus tariff?

When the order completed I got a notice saying that someone would contact me in relation to my order in 48 hours, I'm guessing in relation to the non-Plusnet PAC I gave them. The attraction for me was EE's signal and the fact that it is a one month contract (I like being able to move networks for roaming which I do reasonably often), with EE's normal one month contracts being a joke.

When they terminate this contract I will buy again and then put my PAC in when I recieve the number. I guess that they can't do anyhting about it then!

I'm just hoping that I will not lose the number as I guess that officlally the porting has began.

They won’t initiate the port until the order has been confirmed so you should be OK. My monster-in-law was a Plus customer who I migrated to EE and the port happened a few days after receiving the SIM and they took a good 2-weeks to send the SIM.

You have a monster in law? 😂

I finally got the call and got the order cancelled because I couldn't provide a PAC. I will now try again without giving my PAC on the order form
I did, and the order has gone through 🥳. The salesman tried to tell me that if I had EE broadband I could also get a deal, but I told him that I'd only do that if they could compete with BeFibre's speed and simple availability of FTTP in my area. He had no answer to that one and wished me a good day lol.

I have ignored the text to say call EE as they need more information. Has anyone got the SIM card delivered yet?

The SIM card will never arrive if you don’t call them. Hopefully you didn’t add a PAC when making the order (unless you have a Plusnet PAC, that is).

I just said I didn't have a PAC to hand and supplied one several weeks later going from O2. It still worked and I am now with EE. But a hard credit check and a phone call I think is completely unacceptable in this age for a £4, 30 day SIM .

Just got a call from EE saying they want my PAC code from PlusNet to transfer my number. As I could not provide a PlusNet PAC Code they have cancelled my order

Not everyone wants to port their number for god's sake

They should not be asking for a PAC, some people just want a new number
