EE EE Deals

Not sure why EE are complicating this, O2 sell the same plan as “unlimited data” 🤣

Don't forget the 650GB FUP! Not sure what actually happens when you reach it other than what will supposedly happen in the terms, about one person here uses O2 for internet at the moment.

+1 , very shady browser.
That said, people don't give a &-"£ I've noticed.. just a general observation, not pointing any fingers.
I was using Brave and found it worked really well once you turned off the unnecessary "wallet" stuff, I've got no idea about any politics around it or any other browser. I switched back to Firefox recently as they seem to have made some performance improvements that negate the reason I switched away in the first place - happy to be back home with Firefox.

Yeah for NHS Perk customers…

I have a relative who works for the NHS and endlessly takes advantage of all these NHS discounts, offers, etc - she gets money off on supermarket shopping for goodness sake. Meanwhile, she earns more than I do (which I don't begrudge, she does an important job). I'm not sure why companies give these offers (that the rest of us are funding) to often well-paid NHS professionals.

I work in education and have a TOTUM card (which I use with EE among other things) but the available discounts pale in comparison to the largesse showered on our NHS friends.

Yeah I have a deals app via work which is good, but certainly not on the level of the blue light discount

Let me know how you get on!? I tried the get the roaming like i did the double data, but the person was having none of it :/

From what others have posted, you need to request your PAC and hope you get a call back from their retentions team, gonna try that in the next few weeks.
Well I have gone with the 5gb sim as a back up to O2. Order placed yesterday afternoon, quickly received a ‘Successful EE order email’ but not had anything after that.

Not sure if that means I need to ring them or if I just sit tight and wait for the sim to arrive.

i found my order got 'stuck' so i had to call them, but maybe i was just impatient :D

I’ve had that happen with EE before.

I’ll wait and see what happens.

Yeah then try for the EU roaming and double data (if you can) once you get your SIM.
I have gone with a plastic sim just so I can stick it in my Android network testing phone from time to time.

I’ll sit back and see what happens. Definitely going to push for roaming though, even though I get it on O2.

Yeah i didn't have too much difficulty getting it enabled tbh.

I have EU roaming on my second SIM as well, but having it on my primary EE eSIM is handy for calls and texts.

That happened when I was doing the Plusnet migration for someone, all they got is a thank you for your order email and the SIM arrived in 4 days

I did my mother-in-law’s line from Plus and it took 2 weeks! When I called to chase up the order they couldn’t find any record of it.

Only way we knew it had been processed was that the Direct Debit was set up from her accounts

Browsing the EE users forum it seems they're really quite bad at keeping customers updated.

Some have ordered iPhones on £80 pm plans and have no idea if they even passed the credit check.

You can't order track a sim only online by the looks, just devices.

Wouldn't suggest Brave Browser, isn't it ran by an unpleasant person (won't mention reasons since frankly politics is best to not be discussed here)

Just use uBlock Origin on a browser of your choice and you'll be fine, if the codes prompt pops up, just block it with the selector tool
I use brave browser as my main browser on my desktop and phone and never had an issue with it.

Don't want to get into an argument but I frankly wouldn't suggest a browser who is ran by someone who is anti-[use your mind].

The crypto stuff is unnecessary anyways, only thing I can praise the browser for is increased privacy.

Got sent the direct debit details earlier so looks like the sim is inbound.

I was tempted to stick my perks at work discount ontop too:ROFLMAO:

You definitely would have got a call then.
Yeah, it’s the reason I didn’t bother. From past experience I know how sensitive EE are when it comes down to discount codes.

Applying one to a £4 plan would have been daft.

I tried that for my perk discount, they said as I already had a £2 discount they couldn't put another discount… however, it’s worth a try :)
