They might still be hanging around like a bad smell after all folks.
They need to do a little more research though, an O2 MVNO?

Aww that's a shame. Thought we'd finally rid ourselves of them.

New Study Indicates Current Planning Laws Do Not Cater To Public Attitudes And Needs For Mobile Infrastructure.

Full Report (PDF)

'When shown images of common network infrastructure, 45% couldn’t identify a rooftop installation and 35% failed to recognise a mobile phone mast. The confusion became more pronounced in real-world settings: 79% of people couldn’t identify a phone mast in plain sight, and 35% couldn’t recognise any mobile infrastructure at all. Misidentification was also prevalent, with 42% mistaking a TV transmitter for mobile infrastructure and 40% identifying a radio tower.'

I don't think the above paragraph applies to ISPR forum members though folks. 😊

Not strictly EE related folks but just posting the article in here.
Hopefully I'm not spotted by the thread police.

Anyone else finding their voicemail has stopped working on 1pMobile after switching on Visual Voicemail? The message comes up but no log of the voicemail appears, can't seem to hear my greeting either, it just says "Retrieving greeting..." Normal voicemail works fine!

I've just discovered my voicemail isn't working on 1p Mobile (unanswered/busy calls not being diverted)—and I don't have Visual Voicemail switched on (I don't have a smartphone). I've tried toggling voicemail off and back on in the online settings, we'll see if that works.

A few weeks ago I had a different issue, had a notification that I had a voicemail, but couldn't access the mailbox on the usual number. I called 1p Mobile, who were unaware of any issues, but said they would send a "SIM refresh" to see if that worked.

I wonder if implementing VV has caused other problems?

I never got VV working. Like most EE MVNO's 1p seems to be declining in service and support. I'm on Spusu ATM and it works ok.

I just kicked it back into life (I think) by sending old school MMI codes. Toggling on and off in settings didn't do anything.

I'm just back from another fortnight tramping around the Highlands (didn't do any islands this time)

EE's infill continues to impress, both B20 being added to (the few) B3-only sites, and some new small-site (monopoles in a few cases) builds filling in pretty small blackholes.

The only notable exception is Strathcanaird, just north of Ullapool. VO2 have had a site there since the Orange-days, and OUK did have planning consent for a new build which never materialised. I don't think EE loses coverage, but it's pretty ropey for a short stretch.

Kevin will be pleased 🤣

Upon returning to the UK, I had to manually scan and search for EE and then it took almost 20 minutes to connect. My SIM was put into some special "deactivated" mode after hitting the £5 Spend Cap in Spain, and went to No Service after a text about hitting the spend cap from the daily roaming charge

Wouldn't want to be relying on soley that anywhere abroad!

That doesn't sound good, but it depends on your add-ons with EE.

If you get inclusive EU roaming then you don't have to worry about the daily roaming charge.

EE seem to be rolling out a lot of 5G where I live, a few months ago it was n1, n28 & n78 but now there's n1, n3, n7, n28 & n78. Prep for EE 5G SA maybe?

This is in Vodafone's home town as well, Voda offer n1 & n78 (and SA) but no where near the 5G coverage EE have.. Might have to switch from Voda to EE soon!!
