EE MVNOs

My sim only contract with EE has recently ended and I am looking to switch to one of the EE MVNOs. I would be using Iphone 16 pro.

I have been looking at Spusu's 50GB for £7.90 offer and also 1P's 50GB for £10 and Mozillion's 30GB/100GB for £10.

I believe all of these MVNOs have full access to the EE network, however only 1P offers visual voicemail. Although since iOS 18, I believe Apple has implemented VVM so that the iPhone handles voicemail rather than the carrier (thus allowing visual voicemail on any carrier).

I am since leaning towards Spusu, but is there any other considerations I should give when deciding which of the three aforementioned carriers to go for? I have read about call quality on Spusu, but not sure if this is a big enough deal breaker for me.

Many thanks

Do not bother with Spusu.

They are a 'full' MVNO and their own core network totally sucks.

HD voice is NOT supported, they are using a Roaming Broker so ping times are awful in the EU, OTP codes still don't work properly and they route their own traffic via their own Mass Response ASN.

Go with 1p or Mozillion.

If you also use Private Relay as part of an iCloud subscription it doesn’t work on Spusu. Web pages take an age to load or just never do.
I had to turn this feature off in order to access the web when out and about.

Do they not? There's still many reasons why I probably wouldn't pick them, but I haven't heard any complaints about it for a long time now, and one person I know who is still with them seems to be receiving them no problem now on a number they ported in from another network. I was under the impression that it was finally fixed.

I'm with them and had an issue with one OTP back in March(?) when I first joined but I can't remember what that was for (perhaps eBay?), but for all the OTPs that I've needed to receive since then I have not had any issues

Ah okay. Perhaps it's been fixed then.

Wasn't sure but never got confirmation it'd been mended.

I like VVM but now with iPhone having a similar built in system it’s no longer a deal breaker for me.
A similar system? I thought iPhone just had normal voicemail but only VVM with supported providers?

iOS 18 lets you see your messages in a similar way to visual voicemail. Technically it isn’t VVM but to an end user it will look similar.

Live Voicemail actually has advantages over VVM as the transcript is shown in real time and you can choose to interrupt it and answer the call in mid transcription.
