Thought I'd make a note of this strange observation in case anyone else hits it.
On attempting to log in to Revolut using Microsoft Edge on a laptop, I was prompted to authorize the authentication using the Revolut Android app which showed an IP address of 109.249.187.72 (left visible here as it's not my public gateway) in the app.
As a sanity check, I used an online What Is My IP service which showed my public gateway to be 31.94.67.x which was confirmed by https://fast.com
A check of the 109 IP address showed it belonged to EE which is sane but doesn't help me to rule out a possible man-in-the-middle attack because the 109 IP is a stranger to me. https://asnlookup.com/ipv4/109.249.187.72/
