Email connection help

Very strange problem this, Concerns the set up for a local charity i am helping.

They have an ISDN (BT) Internet Connection and access the Internet through Wanadoo (UK). They have the ISDN box plugged in to one PC via USB and have the Microsoft shared Internet connection running (XP Comps) they have also had the Wandoo email account setup on two PC's without problem.

Now here's the problem

A lady who work there has got somebody to provide some more email accounts for them (Not through Wanadoo) The accounts have been set up but they cannot send or recieve email (it was working but now has stopped) They are connected to the Internet and the settings are correct on the email account, The Wanadoo email account still works! I can connect to there email account through other PC's in different locations such as home etc...

I'm stumped, help please

Thanks in advance

Not quite with you on the last bit. Did you mean you can access the wannadoo emails from anywhere etc?

Has the new emails stopped working completely? I.e. if using outlook/outlook express can you access them via webmail (if they have that option that is).

From the information there is, it looks like them email accounts themselves have stopped working. What email is it? (yahoo, hotmail, or domain email etc?)

This is because:

The wannado ones still work.

The new email accounts did work previously, but dont know. (Meaning the settings are correct).

Unless you meant by the last bit that you can access the new emails from different locations. If thats the case I am not sure what to suggest.

Ok

The wanadoo email accounts they have still work fine.

It's these new accounts therename@theirdomainname.com what have been set up for them. They don't have the option of accessing them through the web.

I can access there new email accounts therename@theirdomainname.com at my home through BT Broadband and at other locations - so the accounts seem to be working - just not in there building through Wanadoo.

Thanks

Thats odd.

Im sure they must have some sort of web interface, it depends on who the hosting people are. If you can find out who is hosting it, go to their website and see if they have webmail.

You will also be able to check the settings you have, you never know they may have been changed.

Barring that, contact the hosting company and see what they say.
