Excellent Service

Be our guest enlighten us.

I'm sure they would have if it was any of our business.

For an ISP to kick one of their own customers off would have taken a bit more than a couple of harassing posts; else it would be tantamount to commercial suicide. I've dealt with customers who continually send in the same complaint over and over and over, even when the ISP has done everything it can to remedy the situation, but still aren't happy. What else can you do?

As they've said, they've put their hands up and said "whoops, we've screwed up" when it came to the entire communication issue, and we've blasted them enough in this thread. Any further attacking posts would simply be covering old ground. </backseat moderating>

How on earth a "excellent service" thread managed to get derailed so badly I never know, but back on topic, I've heard nothing but good comments about Plusnet. Indeed, we've lost a couple of customers to them ourselves!

Any flameage, feel free to PM me!
Happy days :)

Why should we want to flame you, not what should happen and you are entitled to your opinion. Remember what Dirty Harry said about opinions? Though it might be helpful if you say who you are if you are willing to say that you have lost customers to them.

It is our business when two of our friends are booted for reasons that are not correctly identified by the ISP. It puts others under threat too. If the T&C's of this company now include asking awkward questions on their forum and the result is that one gets booted that's our business too. If that ISP then attempts a cover up by saying "There is more in this than that" then they need to explain that or be hounded for that explanation. Sorry I don't buy that stuff. Obviously you are not one of their customers, have not read the PN threads and do not know the individuals concerned, some of us have had close up dealings with PN and what we see in the last few months is not pretty.

Agreed!

Have been with Plunet for over a year and have had the odd slowdown here and there but nothing to get worked up about. I have stayed on the 2MB 20/1 contention because i download a lot, but i am wondering if this is necesary as i got my brother subcribed on the normal 50/1 and he seems very happy. WELL DONE Plusnet (now about me getting 8meg that little bit quicker :) )
