Ezeedsl - anyone got port throttling this month ?

well after my switch from fast24 > ezee I continued with a very stable 2MB connection , which worked perfect, till I finally got the free upgrade to roughly speeds of 730k/sec NICE......but now, for over the last 36 hours, I seem to be limited to speeds around 110k/sec !!

I haven't been a massive d/ler, usually grabbing most stuff while I sleep.
Could it be port throttling ?
I have tried newsgroups over 4 ports (inc SSL encryption on 2), but its made no difference.
I asked if this was to happen when signing up, and told no !
Anyone else suffering similar recently ?

thanks

STILL only getting d/l speeds of 120k/sec max.

Seems not to be port throttling but traffic shaping.

No warning, no answers to my 3 emails sent to support@ezeedsl...
and considering these are the exact points I raised when considering the switch to ezee I'm very angry.

I'm not ringing customer support again, it was like talking to a foreigner, who didn't understand much English, and didn't know much about internet services......hold on...I WAS.

I want my mac and not have to pay the remainder of my contract.

HELP ?

All I can say is good luck.

Request your MAC then cancel your Worldpay Authorisation (or Direct Debit) and be prepared to fight these conmen in court.

My download speed has dropped from around 3 to under 1 over the past week, I have tried to contact the support line but also get a continuous tone, I am very annoyed about this, yes I am a big downloader, but they did state that there were no limits before I signed up with them, after fast24 went under.
What can I do?
Are they in breach of their contract?
You would think that an email to you warning that they were going to do this would be nice!
