F2S Better Than Pipex and Plusnet

I have a 2MB uncapped service with Pipex and pay £33 per month. The connection is reliable and fast. But having a look around I see that F2S is a lot cheaper and can potentially be upgraded to 8MB in the future.
Plusnet premier is even cheaper than that. But has a lot of negative press at the moment.
Im so tempted to change ISP but as an online gamer I worry about poor ping / connection.
I presume this worry need not be an issue with F2S?

Hi I moved from pipex to plusnet premier due to price service is ok only problem is my kids play online games a lot and get a lot more lag far worse than pipex

Interesting point. I have since spoken to a fellow game player (Counter strike source) and he suffers lagg on plusnet. Anyone else?

Have a word with Pipex about what you are paying, i have 2meg uncapped from them and pay £24 something.
TBH I dont see very much difference most of the time between what I have now and my original 512k service; only avi or wmv file downloads seem faster, normal browsing is the same and of course for gaming the ping is the thing and should be nearly the same regardless of the ADSL service speed.
