Its all moot because Fast4 are quite simply untrustworthy.
Its quite clear Steve Kaye **** to people when he said they would maintain the unlimited connection without any sort of cap.
When the MD blatently **** about such things and shows utter disregard for customers - the change in terms and conditions and not letting people cancel - its clear the ISP will never be a good one.
And before anyone goes on at me about saying Steve kaye ****, its on record in this very forum. Hes is expirenced in running ISPs, and reassured time and time again he would not put on any sort of limitation.
So unless he wants to claim that he didnt know people would use their unlimited connection to the maximum, my point about him lying should stay there.
Im afraid I dont really trust Paul either. While he does go to efforts with helping people, Im afraid his agreement that the terms and conditions have not changed makes me very skeptical of what he says concerning fast4 now.
In an ideal world, Fast4 would build up and have many happy customers, and not use the false advertising they currently do.
Its my opinion that at some point the customers will end up getting the short end of the stick again.
be it another change in 'network abuse policy', more uncompensated downtime, or simply folding or selling the ISP to someone with a massive outstanding bill, I doubt we have heard the last of the woes of Fast4.
