Fast4 Very Limited....

Got this mail 3Rd March 2008, I just love the wording regarding the 1% that will be effected :D really sly!

Firstly let me thank you for bearing with us over the last few traumatic
months. We have now successfully moved all of our broadband customers away
from our previous supplier.
We felt this had to be done to ensure that you get a better, faster and
more reliable service from Fast4.

Your account is scheduled to be switched onto our new network over the
next few days; there you will experience how much faster the new broadband
service actually is.

Please note that once on this new and improved service you will be
restricted to 15Gb of data transfer a month. Please do not worry about
this change as this will only affect 1% of our customer base.

15Gb is far more than most people use, however if you do wish to go over
that limit every so often then you can purchase additional data usage from
within your members area or upgrade to our Home Pro package.

Your change is scheduled to complete by the 5th March 2008; please spend
the time to check out the new terms and conditions of this service
available in your members area.

If you do not wish to be included in this change over then you can request
your MAC from within the members area at any stage by following the cancel
account link.

We believe that you will enjoy our new service far greater than ever
before and hope that you will understand why these changes have to exist.

Many Thanks and Enjoy

They could have said whether your usage patterns indicate you will be one of the 1%!

15Gb really isn't that much if you use any kind of bandwidth-hogging apps.

Interesting, they say 15Gb and not 15GB, Gb usually means Gbit? but im sure they meant GByte, even tho, I could eat that amount up within 3 days ;)

I did manage to eat 15GB within a few days (before they slipped us the oh, we are changing the limit to 15GB from 60GB from Unlimited!!!).

And now my speed tests are 60kb/s downstream and about 30kb/s up - bet you wish you had that (not)!!! -
