Well I noticed it first on Fast4's site but its also on the banners here, Fast4 now have no Contracts and this time its true!

Quote from their site: 'NO Contract periods at all...That means if we dont live up to what we say you can leave at any time with no penalty at all' as an ex Fast4 customer I would have loved this luxury (actually I would like to consider it as a right) to have left without any extortionate penaltys!!!

Fast4 finally cleaning up their act? - doubt it and can the £1 increase fill the gap for all those exit fees....Only time will tell.

One last thing, a blatant lie: 'These Terms Last Modified 1st December 2007 (Click for Details)' - I am sure Fast4 will just say it was a Fast4 ooops though.

Merry Christmas all and I am off now, not going to even bother replying to Paul should he reply to any of this.

This appears in their FAQs.

Am I tied into a specific length of contract?

Unlike every other broadband supplier we have no minimum contract period on all our broadband accounts. This means that you can leave our service at any time with no penalty at all.

No idea how long it's been there though, and to imply that they are the only ones with no minimum contract period is a little bold. (Entanet?)

At least they admit to having a Fair Use Policy now. ;)

Do you restrict the service in any way and do you operate a Fair Usage Policy?

The service is completely unlimited, we do not limit time or downloads. We do have a Fair Usage Policy in place, this is designed to make sure that all of our customers always experience the best possible service at all times

Hi all,

Just a quickie (Merry Christmas by the way) - for existing customers (those signing up prior to the 23rd I think), the terms and conditions haven't changed: indeed, if you look at the link for the terms and conditions within your members area, you'll note that they are exactly the same as they were before.

This is new signups only; however, I understand we'll try to ensure existing customers can obtain the same service (in terms of the cancellation and such) as those signing up now will receive.
