Hi - I have a bit of a strange question. Last year I had full fibre fitted. Today there was a short outage and when I was just checking all the connections, I noticed that the fibre cable that was fitted by the engineer to the outside of my house has become detached - looks like one of the cable clips is broken (not sure how that could happen as it's in a place that nobody usually would go).
Since this cable is before the wall box of the provider, does this mean I am supposed to contact the provider to get it reattached, or can I just get some cable clips and re-attach it myself?
I am asking because I was told that fibre cables are very sensitive and also it has to be a full length of cable from the street tot he box, so I don't want to do anything that might make it worse.
(I don't think this is what caused the outage as it came back again on its own - the cable could have been on the floor for weeks for all I know).
