Apparently there's been an asian production as well, quite well praised. Not sure which one to start with..Just started the 3 Body Problem on Netflix. Good so far.
The Chinese version is still on Prime Video afaik.I'm also torn between getting a Netflix subscription to watch 3 Body Problem or check whether the Tencent Three-Body series is still on Amazon Prime Video.
It seems the first two Tencent episodes are still available legitimately in full on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMX26aiIvX5oCR4bBg2j0W4KKgjYtYBfv
Totally agree on this one, enjoying Shogun too. But I'm a bit tepid on how they portray the British sailor, although in fairness my knowledge of history for this era is limited, so it's likely that the show has a much better grasp on it than I doOh wow, been watching Shogun, it's so good!

The English guy seems a bit more goofy in the film compared to the novel, but it's credible imho.Totally agree on this one, enjoying Shogun too. I also enjoyed watching 'The English' on Amazon Prime, although it did go a bit nuts in the last 2-3 episodes.
I'm seriously getting fed up with the amount of video subscriptions i'm expected to have to access a good varied library of content, I was paying for a Sky Stream subscription incl Netflix, Disney Plus (until I got it free for 12 months), Prime Video (now free with O2 extras), we had Apple TV (while it was free), Paramount Plus and probably another one that I'm forgettingThe Chinese version is still on Prime Video afaik.
The Netflix one is generally available on the interwebz, in fact both versions are. :-D
There are a few HN mega threads on this subject, the conclusion is that basically piracy is coming back big time due to this, people are fed up.. It's always been a service problem and continues to be so.I'm seriously getting fed up with the amount of video subscriptions i'm expected to have to access a good varied library of content
I wonder what’s actually going to happen when it goes full mainstream againThere are a few HN mega threads on this subject, the conclusion is that basically piracy is coming back big time due to this, people are fed up.. It's always been a service problem and continues to be so.
For a little while Netflix really did seem like it's turning the tide, but humans got in the way, like they always do.
To be honest, I can only hope that piracy might actually help these industries learn that we don't want everything streaming services exclusive. There are a few HN mega threads on this subject, the conclusion is that basically piracy is coming back big time due to this, people are fed up.. I’ve watched all the episodes but for the first 4 episodes I was not sure what it was about, its a series that requires some perseverance.Just started the 3 Body Problem on Netflix. Good so far.
Half-way through, it's been very good so far! Certainly exceeding my expectations.Amazon Prime "Fallout" trailer looks interesting. Wasn't aware it was in development.
