ye had one of these sims for about 2 years now and they are extremely good value for money if u only use WAP and text (phone calls cost an arm and a leg). U r supposed to put on £10 a month but when the sim was new i topped up once and got about 4 months free....you are not obliged to top up every month..only if u want ur 300 mins WAP and 300 free texts, the sim still works except the services cost money.

its the best payg sim out there imo

You're lucky, if like me, you kept the original Genie sim cards! ;)

These can often be fond on eBay selling in excess of £200!

:D

indeed , it's also known that a new unregistered and untopped up SIM can go onto gprs wap right away with no limits!

Oh? Why so expensive? Do they still work with free features or something? I have a Genie sim card. Is it really that valuable?

the 500 mins to 1 number ones are

To be honest all the SIMS they do are the same - they all give free texts etc

No helper, they were the older BT Cellnet ones; they are nowhere near as rare as the original Genie.

Eeknay, the original Genie or to some extent, Genie in general are still rare and sought-after sim cards. The originals, allowing unlimited text messages and WAP are still valid, although be warned, O2 will want you to transfer. If you do, it is impossible to transfer back to the original tariff. However, the 300 texts and unlimited WAP later Genie sims are also treasured. Many, if not all of them, allow unlimited usage and no time restrictions.

Keep hold of them!

there is meant to be a 1MB GPRS WAP limit on the new ones - i have 4o f the later wap sims - oh no thats 16 asi ordered 4 for 4 households lol

You have 16 O2 sims - would be worth their weight in gold if they were even the later Genie ones!
