Frequent disconnections with EE SIM, H122-373, and Custom APN

Hello everyone. I know this is not a new topic and there are numerous reports here about unstable internet with Huawei H122-373 but what I would like to share is different because all suggested changes didn't work for me unless I have missed something. So in brief:

With EE Standard APN: Experiencing random internet disconnections a couple of times a day for a minute or more.

With New APN: If I set "IP Type" to IPV4 only, I will experience a very unstable 5G signal reception. The 5G signal will come up and disappear every 15-30 seconds and there is also a significant drop in speed. If I set it to IPV4 & IPV6, the 5G signal receipt remains stable but again frequent internet disconnections. I also tried both Cloudflare and Google DNS servers but it won't change anything for me.

I hope forum experts can help me to fix this issue.

Always the same eNBID and Cell (ID) on reconnect?

Always the same eNBID and Cell (ID) on reconnect?
The eNBID and Cell remain the same most of the time but the band will switch between B1 and B7 sometimes but this doesn't make any changes.

I had no issues with APN set to IPV4 but all issues arose after a maintenance text from EE which forced me to change the router direction to receive a proper 5G signal.

I had this issue with my ZTE MC7010 for a while, I ended up leaving EE and using a different network, I was finding EE changing the IPv4 gateway nearly constantly (20-60 seconds)
Yes, I suspect the root cause is with EE network making my internet completely unreliable. I am on a 24-month contract with them, unfortunately.

Worth setting to 4G-only for debugging purposes?

I changed the band to B3 which forces the router to connect to another eNBID/CELL. I now only have LTE+, and still have random disconnections. Speed dropped from 180mbps to 60mbps, IP type set to IPV4&IPV6 with Google DNS servers.

The issue does seem like it's been isolated down to the device so the next logical step is probably to move the SIM to a different device to see if the problem follows the SIM. If a second SIM (different network) is available, it could also be checked if the problem follows the device.

I can confirm I have pretty stable 4G connection by changing the band to B3. So I should blame G5 connection. Other networks do not offer 5G coverage in my area, so I only can try EE unfortunately.

Should I request a replacement SIM as I don't have a second router to test?

I use their 5GEE hub and experience a similar issue, I use the standard APN, did not know of the new one, will browse the forum to read more

My traffic randomly drops a few times a day, router shows it is connected but no pings or browsing works.
Have tried ipv4 with the same problem.
If I force 4G it is a bit better, but has the problem every few days vs hours.

In my Huawei CPE PRO it works much better, but slower speeds
