Hi,
does anyone know if Openreach are waiving the normal copper line (FTTC) cessation charges where an exchange has just been enabled for FTTP & a customer moves over to a new line.
I'm in this position, my current ISP has said there isn't a process to migrate (& I want to change ISP anyway) so I'll need to get the new FTTP in & then cease the old FTTC (porting the landline number over to a VOIP provider as we still need the landline number).
I couldn't see an FTTC cease charge on the Openreach price list but may not have been looking for the right thing.
