Bit of a strange one; been with Zen for just over a year, service has been excellent, very good download speeds circa 30 Mbits/s. So no complaints. I've just recently completed the 12 month contract but as I'm on a price promise happy to stay where I am.
In the previous few weeks City fibre has been installing cabling etc and now I'm being bombarded with "Upgrade to Full Fibre". As I'm happy with the speed I haven't bothered. But as of a few days ago, performance has dropped to crica 1.5 Mbits/s. Absolutely terrible. Raised a case and still waiting for a response (Zen advises there's a fault - which at least is a start).
It seems incredibly coincidental this has happened, and my suspicion is that the line is being retrained to a lower speed to encourage me to upgrade. I'm happy to give benefit of the doubt but interested to hear of any similar type of issues.
