FTTP Help

Hi guys. Trying to arrange broadband for my mother-in law. She has moved to a new build flat in a town centre and I've told its a bronze address with Openreach and it a FTTP block, I don't know what my options for connecting her are. Someone said I would have to go with BT for 12 months as would the whole block. Any not too technical information would be appreciated. thanks

I can't see any reason for going with BT for 12 months, particularly as they're now legally separate from the network developer arm (Openreach) who would have deployed the FTTP itself. In terms of ISP choice - BT, Zen Internet, AAISP, iDNET, Freeola, Cerberus Networks and others can all do FTTP packages on the same network so check them out.
