FTTP issues in new flat.

Hi all, after 2 weeks of trying myself to no avail I thought I'd ask the best place possible.

Question: Why can I not receive broadband from any ISP besides potentially BT?

Run down:
FTTP installed in flat, no ISP can connect.
Vodafone: address not found
TalkTalk: address not found
OpenReach: FTTP available
BT: The only ISP that can find my address?

I live in a Vodafone gigafast city and am unable to get FTTP seemingly from anywhere besides maybe BT, nobody has been any help.

Try checking with ISPs that actually support Openreach's FTTP network:

Vodafone, Sky and TalkTalk do plan to offer Openreach's FTTP (Sky is imminent), but have yet to launch a product. Vodafone's FTTP with Cityfibre is a different network entirely.

OP, BT is not the only ISP selling Openreach based FTTP. From the top of my head: BT, Zen, IDNet, AAISP, Cerberus, Aquiss, Fluidone, Highnet

However BT will almost certainly be the cheapest from the above. You can get a 40/10 FTTP service from BT for around £25/m incl line rental - that's bargain basement territory. If you go via Quidco.com then that's a further £100 cashback.

Thank you all so much, when I checked the OpenReach partners on their website I saw Talk Talk which is why I thought they were available.

One more question, Vodafone can provide fibre to nearly every property around me besides mine. Is this just due to them using city fibre as opposed to OpenReach?

Vodafone currently offer FTTC over Openreach and FTTP over CityFibre. I believe they also have plans to offer FTTP over Openreach but no idea when. Like I said, BT's your best bet if you want the cheapest FTTP.

Yes they could offer FTTP but most have chosen not to, at present.

Not when it comes to FTTP. At present around 700 ISPs offer xDSL services over Openreach copper, only a small fraction of those offer FTTP over Openreach fibre.

I do understand that sorry I should have expanded on my answer, they can offer them if they wanted too. Like Sky don't offer them yet but the products are in the planning I have heard.
