Afternoon folks,
I live in a rural area, in my postcode there are 6 properties of which 3 cannot get FTTP. After a little help with an Openreach planning contact in early 2021 I was able to find that the closes FTTP node is about 500m via the phone line or around 200m down the road.
The 3 properties that cannot get FTTP are myself, the little old lady next door and a sheep farm.
Am I stuck with 5mbit FTTC or spotty high latency 4G? Is there anything I can do to convince OR that extending the fibre to the last property on the run is a good idea? Or am I stuck for the next 4-5 years if they even complete it?
