FTTP on Demand - Special Offer - Slow speed areas

Hi all,

I'm in the process of moving (ah the fun of it).

Unfortunately where I'm moving to has slow broadband. Even though it is FTTC, BT checked shows a high clean speed of 9.3 Mbps.

So I've been doing some searching for what options might be available to improve this, and stumbled across this new offer from OpenReach:

Before getting too excited about this as an option (and at the risk with such a limited number available), if my cabinet is not listed as being FOD, is it likely that I could do this? Otherwise how can I find a communications provider who might be part of this offer?

Hmm I've not seen that before, will do some digging to find out more.

Generally speaking if your exchange supports FoD and you're within an FTTC area then you should still be able to order it, although be aware that the construction charges could go above what that document states.

The challenge is to find an ISP that actually offers it. Spectrum Internet are one (maybe the only one) of the few that seem to have it listed, so you might be best placed to ask via them:
