Please forgive my Level of understanding.....
is it at all possible to pay for fibre to the premises if your cabinet has fibre to the cabinet? I appreciate this would be expensive. But is it at all possible and with who? Any advice at all greatly received. Thank you.

Thank you so much. You have been very helpful. This is great.
i just need to somehow make sure that the cabinet we are connected to definitely has fibre. BT says it does but I know sometimes they can get it wrong. Thank you.

Just don't be surprised if it costs you a fortune as FTTP on Demand requires you to pay for the civil engineering side, which will usually cost thousands (often into the tens of thousands). You can however reduce the cost by linking orders with your neighbours, but often you'll need quite a lot of neighbours to join in order to bring that cost down.

Typical installation cost for an "easy" install is £8K+VAT. This is when you are fairly close to the fibre aggregation node and there is usable ducting.

Also, time, it's not a quick process at all if you were to decide to go ahead.
Not always. It really depends on many factors such as complexity of build, and availability of labour in your area. I had FTTPoD installed in less than 4 months and I know of plenty of other cases where people had it installed in less than 6 months. So everyone's circumstances will be different.
