I first reported on the 28 October 2022 to Three that their mast was out of order. It is a MBNL site, so serves both 3 and EE. It took numerous calls to get Three to admit that there was a problem and they finally started to reflect the fact on their "Network Status" on-line checker.
Three kept fobbing me off saying it would take 3 days, then a further 7 days, then another 7 days. The current 7 days is up on Wednesday.
I managed to speak to a member of the CellMapper community who was able to tell me that the mast was Out of Bounds (OOB) due to safety issues at the site. This OOB was lifted on the 22nd November, but the site is still not working, apparently have to wait for MBNL to send out a crew to climb the mast and fix equipment on the mast itself.
This issue is affecting my local area badly with many of us having no other option but to use mobile broadband and with Fibrus delaying things, yet again, I can't see us getting FTTP this side of Christmas to be honest.
I have contacted MBNL directly on numerous occasions but they never contact me back as promised. There must be some body or organisation that can get this issue sorted out. I thought I read that the UK Government had given the four main operators money earmarked for Rural areas, is there any public accountability to these funds?
