Full month of a mast being out of order

I first reported on the 28 October 2022 to Three that their mast was out of order. It is a MBNL site, so serves both 3 and EE. It took numerous calls to get Three to admit that there was a problem and they finally started to reflect the fact on their "Network Status" on-line checker.

Three kept fobbing me off saying it would take 3 days, then a further 7 days, then another 7 days. The current 7 days is up on Wednesday.

I managed to speak to a member of the CellMapper community who was able to tell me that the mast was Out of Bounds (OOB) due to safety issues at the site. This OOB was lifted on the 22nd November, but the site is still not working, apparently have to wait for MBNL to send out a crew to climb the mast and fix equipment on the mast itself.

This issue is affecting my local area badly with many of us having no other option but to use mobile broadband and with Fibrus delaying things, yet again, I can't see us getting FTTP this side of Christmas to be honest.

I have contacted MBNL directly on numerous occasions but they never contact me back as promised. There must be some body or organisation that can get this issue sorted out. I thought I read that the UK Government had given the four main operators money earmarked for Rural areas, is there any public accountability to these funds?

What's the mast ID, do you know?

I was promised a call back yesterday evening (after 5pm) by Three High Level technical team but as usual they broke another promise.

Their website is now showing that there are no issues reported, but with the amount of call issues and being thrown off masts I don't believe a word of it.

Threes checker is as much use as a chocolate fire guard, just like many of their masts

An update to this. The mast is now broadcasting again, but seems to have been significantly reduced in signal power and abilities.

Customers used to get full bars on Three and EE via Band 20 indoors, but that only getting about 2 bars outdoors and nothing indoors.

I have also noticed that it used to be LTE-A and routers reported having a 4G+ connection, but now only getting 4G. Basically speeds and coverage have been severely decreased since the mast came back on-line.

Three continue to fob me off with nonsense about WiFi signals and my postcode being "limited" connectivity.

I've been with Three for 12 months and it was enough.
