Yeah it's about time they fixed it, although I do wish they'd use a more up-to-date LCD technology.
Modern LCDs (e.g: late 2003 samsungs) not only conserve up to 40% more power than the ones from early 2002, but this also allows you to increase the pixels on the screen to compensate = better game image quality.
Ah well, they may still have done that, we'll know come Easter. Mind you, modern mobile phones can technically do more than the GBA, nobody seems to have mentioned that and mobile gaming is on the rise.
