Hello the cruel world of the internet, I have been looking at these as they are unbundling my local exchange and i should be able to get 10 meg off them but one thing holding me back is what is the support like?

I can ring them and probe till i go blue in the face but its nothing like the real thing with a problem, is any one with these and able to give me a real life answer?

To read about Be*'s customers experiences, you're best off looking at these two forums:-
http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=beunlimited
http://www.beforum.co.uk/forum

Personally, I haven't had any trouble with them - all the people I've signed up to Be* have had good experiences so far. Unfortunately, some do have the odd glitch - some having trouble getting migrated over.

The support seems to be better via tickets & email, rather than the phone support. Although some have said they've found the phone support fine.

My wife and I have now been using Be as our ISP for 3 months. They offer up to 24MB connections in London.

While we have not been getting 24MB as we are a fair way from the exchange, we have been getting at least 8MB which compares favourably to our last ISP which charged the same but only provided 1MB.

While calls to their support service are handled reasonably quickly, you do still have a 6-10 min wait before getting through. I prefer to use the support tickets which get replied to in around 24 hours and are more convenient then waiting on the phone.

The best news is that they are offering a month's free internet if you signup as having been referred from me (freemonth@trekaround.com).

I am sure that you will be happy with your choice.
