How many stages, when will it be completed by, what kind of disruption, who have you moved first, have you successfully trialled it?We’re always looking for ways to make Tesco Mobile even better for our customers. That’s why we’re currently updating our network – so you can benefit from Wi-Fi Calling and 4G Calling.
To make sure there’s as little disruption to our service as possible, we’re moving customers onto our updated network in stages, rather than all in one go.
You were generous, I would have given them a minus 5 stars for effort.@Meatball Giffgaff is stuck on O2's pay as you go billing system, just like Lyca and Tesco, and O2 pay as you go.
At least it's not Tesco's support page for WiFi calling that was updated on the 13th November 2022 according to the Wayback Machine.

Who knows, it's just a vague statement.
How useful was this page, 1 star out of 5 Tesco, 1 star out of 5.
Vote with your feet, there are other operators out there who would be interested in your business and offer 4G/Wifi calling as standard.View attachment 6149 I can't believe I've had problems for three weeks on giffgaff they need Wi-Fi cooling and 4G calling just one thing I have to go through every single day this network is holding people like me to ransom
Go join smarty. in giffgaffs words, free to go free to stay. And if not smarty, then try Lebara who run via vodafone. Both Smarty and Lebara will give you a better deal than giffgaff is pretty much every aspect.View attachment 6149 I can't believe I've had problems for three weeks on giffgaff they need Wi-Fi cooling and 4G calling just one thing I have to go through every single day this network is holding people like me to ransom
Cough Cough aren't you forgetting the third option of 1pMobile?Go join smarty. in giffgaffs words, free to go free to stay. And if not smarty, then try Lebara who run via vodafone. Both Smarty and Lebara will give you a better deal than giffgaff is pretty much every aspect.
EE is bleh imo. I don't really reccomend them unless the only other option is O2 or none at all. Three as first option, failing that vodafone. OP is an O2 user, so safe bet that Vodafone will cover.Cough Cough aren't you forgetting the third option of 1pMobile?
Thank you so much for your support I'm still waiting to find out if three and Vodafone are going to merge the network together as I want to go over to smarty but I will be waiting to see what happens with three and VodafoneGo join smarty. in giffgaffs words, free to go free to stay. 1PMobile is pretty reliable and far superior to the others with EE coverage and as they seem to keep winning award after award and keeping the no1 spot in various surveys I can't see them as Bleh, I would recommend them first than the others.EE is bleh imo. EEs call quality sucks and, this may only be my area, but 5G is next to none existent. I suppose it is all incredibly area dependant.1PMobile is pretty reliable and far superior to the others with EE coverage and as they seem to keep winning award after award and keeping the no1 spot in various surveys I can't see them as Bleh, I would recommend them first than the others.
Is WhatsApp call quality better? When there is bad call quality, does VoLTE show?EEs call quality sucks and, this may only be my area, but 5G is next to none existent. I suppose it is all incredibly area dependant.
When I used to live in Birmingham quite close to the city centre as in less than a 30 minute walk, I used to be on Three and they were awful, snail like speeds and the call quality sounded like both callers were shouting down the phone so dreadful quality.EEs call quality sucks and, this may only be my area, but 5G is next to none existent. Yeah, it's the opposite here for Three. Best call quality and the only network that has blanket 5G in Bradford. O2 is patchy, vodafone even more patchy and EE is downright none existentWhen I used to live in Birmingham quite close to the city centre as in less than a 30 minute walk, I used to be on Three and they were awful, snail like speeds and the call quality sounded like both callers were shouting down the phone so dreadful quality.
When I moved to try Voxi back than for the first time, the difference in call quality was better although it wasn't until I moved to the Luton area and finally moved to EE that the call quality and coverage vastly improved over what Three could offer so you are right in that as always it is area dependent on how good the operator is.
As to 5G, only O2 has really blanketed the Luton area with O2 or enough of the areas that I frequent often to use 5G often, just a pity that the O2 MVNO's don't offer wifi calling, 4G calling etc as standard like Voxi, Smarty and 1pMobile do.
