GIGACLEAR SIP Settings

I brought a yealink W60P, I need to input the gigaclear sip password and registration server and , any clues as gigaclear playing dumb -use our grey box adapter, buy an rj45 to rj11 adapter, but that defeats buying a voip phone, I could have just bought any dect phone and plugged it into their grey box adapter

Thanks in advance

@sinex / @andy166 Did you guys get any joy from GigaClear on the SIP details? I've just signed up and it looks like you have to connect the ATA to the second port on the ONT to get the VOIP working, is that right? I was hoping i could keep it myside of the Router by the phone refuses to register.

I did mange to get onto the ATA and found some settings:
Primary Sip: call.viop.int.gigaclear.net
Sip Transport: UDP
Local Sips Port: 5060
username is there which I assume is unique to each user

I suspect the missing part of the puzzle is the Sips password

I'm going to try and talk to them tomorrow because like @sinex I'd rather just use my viop phones

Thanks

Hi - did you make any progress with the Gigaclear SIP settings? I already use VOIP via Voipfone with a Gigaset N300 IP base station and I wanted to add the Gigaclear settings to that rather than use their ATA.

I did wonder whether it was it was possible to connect the phone output of the Gigaclear ATA to the fixed line input of the N 300 IP - but can't get a definitive answer, so knowing the Gigaclear settings would be a real help.

EDIT - I can confirm that you can connect the phone output of the Gigaclear ATA to the Fixed Line input on the N 300 IP - I assume it presents as a normal phone.

You can then edit each handset registered on the N300 IP to use either the Fixed Line or, in my case, the Voipfone line for incoming or outgoing or any combination.

This allows you to port your UK number to Gigaclear (to make use of any discounts etc. for bundled phone and broadband) and use it for incoming calls, but dial out on any VOIP provider for cheaper call rates.
