OP can make the choice though, 300GB is more than enough for a mobile phone abroad but may not be enough for motor home broadband for example.

And plus, Tesco won't have the text message bugsYes, but not unlimited.

Vodafone ES only and that network sucks beyond belief.I’ve got a Lebara sim in my phone. It works in Spain with no problems. They do have a 30Gb data limit when roaming though.
Sucks so much that they're selling it off (seems to be Vodafone's strategy when they suck (although they're decent in the UK, especially around here for 5G coverage)Vodafone ES only and that network sucks beyond belief.
Tesco or a Three network for the best roaming in Spain imo

Yes, I had a call with a takeway in Amsterdam, NL that lasted over 7 hours on O2 UK while I was there, forgot to hang upSo what you're saying is that if I'm roaming in Spain with eg O2 UK - without any international minutes addon - then I can call any Spanish number as if I were a local?
I love that with Lebara etc you don't even have to worry about somehow getting hit with a billLebara works perfectly for me, Spain and Canaries. I always turn off data and just use Hotel or Bar Wifi.
That may have to do with EU regulations actually, it does make sense.Shocked that some people didn't know this lol
I didn't realise you could text/call countries outside the one you're in / the UK, thought they were chargeable tbh
In that case, you wouldn’t have the issues I faced with data roaming then.Lebara works perfectly for me, Spain and Canaries. I always turn off data and just use Hotel or Bar Wifi.
How did you not get charged in Turkey? Thought it wasn’t inclusive on any plan on EE?And I called plenty in Turkey from EE while I was there
No charges for either
I guess it depends where you are going. In the UK reception varies from region to region and with Lebara recently we have been in the Canaries, Gran Canaria and also Tenerife. It picks up signal as soon as you land, calls are crystal clear. Just watch the data usage and sign in to wifi wherever you can. Plenty of free wifi in Spain. In that case, you wouldn’t have the issues I faced with data roaming then.
Movistar and Orange were both miles ahead in that regard.
Yeah, it on paper worked fine too.. it was just Vodafone’s local Spanish network that sucked so bad it was next to unusable. A bit like O2 in a city centre except it got so overcrowded in an evening that phone calls weren’t even an option (someone tried to call me and it kept just getting sent to voicemail, the network was on its backside)I guess it depends where you are going. And if you really need unlimited data, pick up a local sim card, swap it over or use a dual sim phone.
Whereabouts were you?Yeah, it on paper worked fine too.. it was just Vodafone’s local Spanish network that sucked so bad it was next to unusable. Menorca, Cala’n Bosch.Whereabouts were you?
Vodafone is pretty useless where I live in the UK but worked great in Gran Can!
Very nice! A tad warmer than Britain right now...Menorca, Cala’n Bosch.
Movistar and Orange were miles better, Yoigo had no presence at all.

Movistar was best, even without access to their 5G at the time. If I was to go now id be able to access their 5G, same with VF ES… but I doubt they actually have any on the island.Very nice! A tad warmer than Britain right now...
I wonder if there's an online checker for Menorca...see what networks work best and where?
I’ve found for coverage on the canaries and mainland Spain Movistar is far the best for coverage back when I was on EE roaming in Tenerife Orange always gave the best speeds once got over 300mpbs on 4G in populated part of Costa Adeje. Currently with O2 and can only get Movistar when roaming in Spain but is what it is.Movistar was best, even without access to their 5G at the time. Oh that’s intresting. Expected, but interesting - thought they still had other agreements.Currently with O2 and can only get Movistar when roaming in Spain but is what it is.
O2 might still have Orange but it's heavily steered to Movistar so hard to register on itOh that’s intresting. Expected, but interesting - thought they still had other agreements.
So that means now that only EE and Three have more or less none sponsored roaming (EE with a slight preference for Orange).
