Green box full for 3 years in Central London

I am fortunate enough to be on a cabinet that offers Gfast (although I have stayed on FTTC 80/20). However it is very frustrating to not have access to FTTC when it is 'available' but all the ports are taken.
A last resort option is to contact Openreach headoffice, and politely explain the predicament and urge openreach to consider a Gfast installation for your cabinet as a viable solution. it may prod them into assessing the cabinet as a candidate for Gfast.

i find it odd that two Openreach guys did not want to drive 400 yards and check the cabinet to see if the cabinet reflected what the data said, and I know BT access records can be crap, so I can't even check the cabinet. Simple maybe naive Q - can the guys open all cabinets?

Engineer are not allow to open the fibre cabinet anymore. Only the specialist Openreach investigation will open the fibre cab. But the engineer can open telephone pcp cabinet. Not sure if they are allow to use g fast pod to open it or not.

Still zero movement on the green box, still waiting list and no sign of any improvement. It seems this area has been completely forgotten about. It isn't asking much to have FTTC availability in the middle of a city!
