I would like to raise a query about Tiscali, but please bear with me, as I am not at all computer literate.
We have a Tiscali broadband account but we have had some problems with our e-mail since the recent change to webmail. For example, I can no longer log into my email as my username and password are no longer recognised. (My husband’s e-mail appears to be OK).
This is causing me some concern, as I have at least 70 e-mails that I need to have access to, i.e confirmation of hotel and flight bookings. I have no idea how I can retrieve them.
To date, we have ‘phoned the call centre twice and written twice and have received the following suggestions:
1. Change the browser to Mozilla
2. Delete cookies
3. Delete temporary internet files
4. Log out and Log in again.
None of the above has had any effect.
The call centre seems very far away, to the extent that we can’t hear the technicians talking. The second person I spoke to said he didn’t understand why I was having this problem, and had no ideas as to what I could do.
My husband emailed a complaint to Tiscali, but regrettably omitted one letter of my e-mail address, so I will have to start the complaint process again!
It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve had access to my e-mails.
Can anyone help me find them please?
