Help new Xilo customer

Morning all

I am a complete novice when switching ISP as I have just done.I have gone live with Xilo today but no experience of what I am supposed to do next or how to setup my router ?

Dear Peter Macfarlane,

We are delighted to confirm that your Home 25GB broadband service has been activated. This email contains information on how to connect to the service.

control panel
-------------

You are now able to access the broadband control panel and some of the exciting features that it offers.

Go to https://my.xilo.net/ and click 'Your Broadband' on the menu.

connection details
------------------

You will need the following connection details to setup your ADSL modem or router.

As per the other post you made, so long as you can get into your router via a web browser then it's usually just a case of finding Xilo's settings in there and adjusting the values to match. The login and password (note: your ADSL login/pw and router login/pw are separate) is obviously the most important.

What router do you currently have? The welcome email contains a few settings and generally, you should only need the username and password as a minimum.

Edit.. I believe the user has an AOL Speedtouch 585, which from Google, appears locked.

Any problems, do please give us a call :)

Matt
