Help Picking A 4G Network?

Currently planning on shifting over from Fixed Wireless to 4G broadband, largely due to issues with packet loss and the low data cap, and I've tested the performance of Three, EE and Vodafone but I'm struggling to determine which is the best option. For context the intended use is the usual: Netflix, browsing and gaming etc.
  • Three is my current mobile provider but is not suitable for home broadband with the latency being too high and the speed only reaching 20mbps.
  • Vodafone is very stable with an average ping of 45ms to Google and a jitter of 3.6ms, however the speed is about 30mbps which is equal to what I got on my current fixed wireless provider. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but more speed is always appreciated.
  • EE is not as stable as Vodafone in terms of ping but the average ping is lower at 39ms with a jitter of 13.8ms. The large upside of EE though is that I get double the speed compared to Vodafone as I was able to hit ~60mbps sustained.
Is there anyone with a bit more knowledge or first hand experience choosing a network that could help me understand which is best between Vodafone and EE in my situation?

It really depends on where you are, there is no mast data available just general details on bands and bandwidth but not all masts have all the connections. So the best person to answer that is yourself and you have a good summary. Only issue is you have not said what you used for testing, its best to use an up to date phone so it can max out the local masts capabilities, an older phone may miss out on bands and Carrier aggregation. Routers are not as advanced as phones connection wise so they do suffer compared to a phone but can pull some performance back with a good location and antenna. Your Voda link could have 2CA but if you testing equipment is limited to 1CA then you could be discounting Voda ahead of EE.

Unless you grab a selection of sims from different companies and give them a try you're not going to find out.
