I'm looking for help if anyone can please I have just got youfibre broadband connected TV mobile phone's but cannot connect my security camera it will connect to WiFi but says no data? I have done all the things like resetting moving close and stuff like that thanks

You don't state the make/model of the security camera which might help, but just to get this going is there an option for a factory reset on the security camera. It might be a physical button that needs a paperclip and pressing for 5secs - sometimes these devices get themselves confused and a reset sorts them out.

It's a tapo outside camera but have also tried my daughter's in door one and it does the same
Have you tried to reset the system and start from scratch. My ring camera needed to be reset before being able to connect to the router for some strange reason.

What was the router it went through before? Does UPnP need to be enabled for it? If there’s some inbound service that’s required (generally what UPnP will do for you) it may need to be enabled on the newly provided router they gave you.

While I can’t see anything to this end, I do see:

3. If you want to view the live stream of the Tapo camera with a third-party app remotely, you will need to open port 554 for the camera on your host router first. Please enable the TCP forwarding for port 554.
But I’m guessing at what you’re actually trying to do as there’s little info you provided.

Worth bearing in mind that unless your paying for a static IP you'll be on CGNAT, ie sharing a public IP. You won't be able to open a port on IPv4, although it's possible it'll work in IPv6, but support for that if is often limited

If your security camera connects to Wi-Fi but isn't transmitting data, it could be due to several factors. One possible issue is the router's settings, such as needing to enable UPnP or configuring port forwarding, especially if you’re trying to access the camera remotely. In some cases, the router may not be allowing the correct communication for the camera. Additionally, if you’re using dynamic IPs, the lack of a static IP might cause problems with port forwarding. You might also want to look into Vivint home security systems, which offer more integrated solutions for cameras and smart home tech.
