FTTC is dreadful at our home, partly due to interference that Openreach are unable (or unwilling?) to fix and FTTH is a way off - maybe 2025?
Due to this, we have an NR5103E on Three located on a high shelf in the loft. This is far better with around 100Mb/s down, but only 3-4Mb/s up due to poor 4G signal - as shown below.
To try and improve the signal, I have acquired two Bluespot aerials and the plan is to get then fitted outside, but for now I am testing them in the loft on a short pole. The problem I am having is working out which tower the router is connecting to, so I can point the aerials in the correct direction!
Although the nearest mast 11148 (see below) is 5G enabled, I am fairly sure it is not connecting to it as none of the details in Cellmapper match. I can't find the Cell ID 2041929 in Cellmapper, so perhaps a newer, unlisted 5G cell? I am located in the red circle area - a bit large for privacy reasons.
Any help most appreciated.
