First of all could I apologise that I know very little about networking and its terminology (although I am trying to learn).
I am currently transitioning from a Draytek Vigor 2860 router to a D-Link DWR978 5G router as I am now able to get 5G broadband about 40 times faster than my fibre to the cabinet lines.
The problem that I have is that there are certain items in my home that have to have a static IP address. This was very simple to achieve on the Draytek router by going into the "Bind IP to MAC" setting in the Draytek menu. Unfortunately I cannot see the equivalent menu in the DWR978. Is IP to MAC binding possible in this router, and if so, how is it achieved?
Here is a link to the manual: https://ftp.dlink.de/dwr/dwr-978/documentation/DWR-978_man_reva_Manual_en.pdf
Any help much appreciated!
