Thanks! That makes sense.Looks to be a small cell in the Sheriff's Court. I could only connect to it when at the back and side of the building, and nowhere else. Broadcasts only band 3 4G (dual carrier), though I didn't check 2G and 5G.
Could it be this Forrest road small cell? I was actually in Sheriff’s court in May for jury service, and there was no coverage inside the building. Unless they activated a small cell since then.Looks to be a small cell in the Sheriff's Court. I could only connect to it when at the back and side of the building, and nowhere else. Doubt it, I would've picked up the cell walking past it and I didn't (not even in the neighbour cells).Could it be this Forrest road small cell? I was actually in Sheriff’s court in May for jury service, and there was no coverage inside the building. Unless they activated a small cell since then.
I'm a bit confused, it seems to have been put in the right place in 2022? I put the exact coordinates in but it's not moved, from what I can see.Anyone fancy putting a rural mast in the right place on Cellmapper? 804, 776, and 23936 should be at 51.9939863, -4.4856104 (coordinates from Google Maps, hope I've extracted them correctly). Not sure about 849, which is also parked in the middle of the village at the moment—could be on the same mast, but signal seems to drop several bars when connecting to it, so![]()
My bad, I was confused because it's recently sprouted duplicates. The new versions are in a different spot, but hidden behind the low-confidence filter as not having been observed much yet. Its only one mast, I think, a NTQ to allow the Fire Station to develop - a Ph7.2 replacement, though, amusingly with dummy active antenna blanks and no Three.Anyone got details on these two sites:
