i am currently renting from a company called club easy and they provide free internet through kingston communications who is karoo. karoo are cutting internet connection of anyone who is downloading music/films without notice. if i hide my isp will it be hiden from my provider aswell so they know i am not downloading?
thanks
It seems that Karoo have had a change of heart rolleyes, and have decided that they will send out warning letters first in the future in line with what other ISPs are doing.
As to the original question, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "hide your ISP" but most P2P clients allow you to give a random IP to the tracker and can enable RC4 style encryption so the ISP is unable to see/verify you have been downloading. Use of proxy or VPN servers are another way.
