Highest throughput in your area?

I check throughput every once in a while whilst I'm out and about. I usually get around 600-1000 Mbit/s within a reasonable distance of a 5G mast with good backhaul. The abolsute top speed I've got is 1.6 Gbps (whilst in a moving car I should also add!) in Harehills, Leeds connected to what I belive to be eNB ID 3238 based on the location of the test and cellmapper info. This was taken using a OnePlus 8 on the Three network.
Feel free to share your top results!

Impressive speed.

Not so great latency though, that's a bit odd.

I get pretty consistent 140 Mb/s down on my local Vodafone mast on 4G, connected via a B535-232. Get around 10-50, load depending on Three, and 0.5-5 (lol) on O2, which I believe is the same site as the Vodafone mast

@Jamatu can you also do speedtest.net or nperf.net ? Read recently a post questioning the accuracy of fast.com.

Latency seems to vary quite a lot depending on the mast. At home I'm within range of four different masts, three of them are 4G only and one is 5G. Two of them (including the 5G mast) have a latency of around 50-70ms, one has 30-50ms and the last one which is 4G is round 20-30ms. The lowest I've seen on my tests is 16ms. The lowest I'v seeen from others elsewhere is 9ms which is bonkers. I'm assuming this could be dependent on if a mast has been been moved over to the new core network but I also would have assumed 5G masts would be moved over to the new core network as part of the upgrade processes so I couldn't tell you with any certainty as to why

Hmmm, yeah fast.com seems to like doing the impossible for Virgin customers too, 1.2Gbps on a 940mbps limited LAN and 1.1gbps capped service.
I can't vouch for the accuracy of one speed test over another but I wouldn't say its impossible. Others have gotten similar UK N78 5G throughput results using different speed test services including through Network Signal Guru

Here's an NSG result from Peter Clarke reaching 1.8Gbps through NR only at Basildon Archers Field Close industrial estate (also on Three)

The top speed here is only 330 Mbps 4G b 1,3,32 but I'm wondering why the OnePlus 8 Pro can do 7.5Gbps and yet the Mi 10T Pro can only do 2+ Gbps, figure from GSMArena.

Fast.com can sometimes be inaccurate though. Don't ask me *why* because I have no idea - but occasionally I've had speedtest results which are much higher than are feasibly possible on my connection.

At the same time I have had issues with both speedtest.net and nperf where I knew my uplink was not saturated. Sometimes speedtest.net gives me 80 or 100 mbps down on a multi test, while nperf gets me over the 300 mark. This happens daily..

I sit slap bang in the middle of 4 mast sites used by my main operator, Three, and generally get download speeds around 50-60Mbps on 4G. Best I've had pushed 89Mbps and 19Mbps on the upload. But this is indoors, on a Smartphone.

I'm sure if I were to do some testing with an external antenna, and on different bands, then I could probably get around 100Mbps with some consistency (capacity allowing).

I was getting speeds of 750-800Mbps+ consistently until two days ago when the house behind had some scaffolding put up as their gable end wall is falling down (ouch), now I can't get more than 600Mbps. I'm maybe going to have to move the Router at the weekend, not that I am missing the extra 200Mbps tbh, it's just nice to have. :p

All on Three. I'll post a screenshot soon.
