Hocell 5G CPE IM730 (ODU) is a high-performance 5G & LTE outdoor wireless router based on Unisoc IVY510 modem, which supports 5G NR (SA&NSA), TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE. It’s designed with a SIM card slot and a 2.5GE LAN port of PoE, converting cellular network signals into wired network. With IP66 protection level and operating temperature from -20℃~+55℃, the device can support outdoor harsh environment. Designed with PoE, it eliminates the trouble for users to fetch electricity outdoors.

So I know what I'm looking for next.

What's it like?
Seems fairly well built, speeds are slightly lower than with our Askey RTL6300 but more reliable so far. We are on N28 on EE. Has various band/cell locking functions. No bridge mode as far as I can tell. Has a USB-C port but not had time to look at that yet.

I believe it's still "budget" compared with the X65 but I have no idea as to reasons they price the Hocell units the way they do.

I think Hocell just get their products from a company called Suncomm from china in Alibaba.

Here is a video of that unit of yours ritdaw and they have other more videos with their other units.

I will be getting Suncomm O2 nextweek with a x62 chip according to my supplier.

You can just get their Suncomm O2 & O1 or their ODU O3 for $270 or $235 in bulk 1000+ pcs.
I think it's better to contact them directly.

Here is their website

Try to search Suncommmyanmar in Facebook they post there frequently.

I am just a silent reader here in this forum for quite a while and learned some new things here.
I am not in Europe/UK but the modems seems to cover most 5g bands of most world wide bands.
We started using this in my country in August and it quickly became a trend here.
I think it triples the amount of devices compared to popular Huawei, ZTE and Oppo products to be connected that's why it became popular in no time.

You might be right, hard to know for sure of course! I've also seen it under a different brand name elsewhere.

Has anyone in the UK actually tried a Suncomm 03 (X62 chipset), or any of the Hocell IM7xx ODUs?

I'm confused about the Hocell units, the IM710 is Qualcomm X55:

The IM730 is Unisoc IVY510:

but I can't find the IM720 on their website (X62 like Suncomm O3?)
