Is it similar to Seeek?
I would say it's more similar to what RWG offers with the all 4 network SIMs, not some sketchy company that disappeared a while ago offering "free" data.Is it similar to Seeek?
Tesco always locked onto T-Mobile 4G for me. This might have changed as of recent, though, since this was in 2019 and 2022. Giffgaff roamed onto Play first last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if they share roaming agreements so probably did change thenWas a guessing game for me on Tesco, all I could roam on in Poland was Plus 3G but it was quite fast for HSPA+. No idea if that was just the network being bad or a Tesco thing as a year or two later I was achieving 100mbps on a local Plus SIM![]()
I found O2 would roam onto T-Mobile 4G pretty consistently as wellTesco always locked onto T-Mobile 4G for me. This might have changed as of recent, though, since this was in 2019 and 2022. Just set my smart sim up. No backup calling for me with O2 on iphone. There is something curious though.... Not sure I should mention here or not. There is a clue in the image.Does backup calling work through the smart SIM?

Just found out that the Tesco roaming agreement lists Era as the partner in Poland.... Said brand has not existed since 2011 (the name was changed to T-Mobile).Was a guessing game for me on Tesco, all I could roam on in Poland was Plus 3G but it was quite fast for HSPA+. It's not free but 5 quid isn't bad especially as the list is growing...Is it similar to Seeek?
Where is the list? I'm sure I saw it but can't find it again. Interested to know if Cuba is on there although I very much doubt itIt's not free but 5 quid isn't bad especially as the list is growing...

Peru is listed, alas Cuba is not.Would be amazing and too good to be true if smart sim worked in all those countries for £5 a month
Edit: well maybe it does. From the FAQ:
"Is it true that Smart SIM works in 180+ countries?
Yes. From South Africa to Sri Lanka, Italy to India, Smart SIM has got you covered"
Im travelling to Peru on Saturday and Cuba in September so I'll be testing. Cuba is pretty much non existant for any roaming.
Not that I'm aware of, I think @Fil tried to call from it iircGot my Honest Smart SIM!
Has anyone with one tried to call the number assigned to it?
